Community Development
 The
Community Development department reviews preliminary and final subdivision
plans, inspecting water, sewer and street drainage and building construction
within private developments, reviewing construction commercial/tourist projects
and issuing permits. The goal is to obtain infrastructure and utility
improvements into city ownership which meet established engineering standards
and code requirements and serve the community effectively, efficiently, and
safely. Any questions pertaining to
buildings, zoning, permits, or any item to be placed on the Planning Commission
agenda should be directed to this department.
