You may obtain an application from City Hall between the hours of 8:00
a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Be
certain to indicate in the appropriate section of the application form the
specific job for which you are applying. Mail-in applications are accepted.
Applications MUST be received by the deadline date and time specified on the job announcement. Applications
received after the deadline will not be considered.
All
applications remain on file for one year.
Applying For A Police
Recruit Position
Applications
are accepted in response to a job announcement, from persons at least 21 years
old. For consideration,
applications must include a copy of your actual Birth Certificate (issued by
the state department of Vital Statistics), your valid driver’s license, and
your high school diploma. If applicable, you must also include your DD214,
college transcript(s), and/or relevant certifications.
