Public Utilities
The system consists of approximately 95 miles of
water main piping, 424 fire hydrants, 8 water tanks, and 4 pump stations.
We have 2,600 residential customers and 857 commercial water customers.
Tap fees are $750 inside the city and $1500 outside the city.
The minimum rate is $8.32 up to 2000 gallons and over is $3.06 per gallon
inside the city. Outside the city
the minimum is $12.48 for up to 2000 gallons and over is $4.44 per gallon.
Work preformed includes maintenance and construction of service lines,
pressure reducing valves stations and booster stations and inspections.
Installation, removal, cleaning, repairing and testing of meters and
sewer lines. The City of
Pigeon Forge Utility Department serves water customers in the county as far as
Wears Valley and Richardson Cove.
