Sanitation Department
 The
Sanitation Department, which is made up of 18 employees, picks up commercial and
residential dumpsters and deliver the trash to the Compost Plant located on
Ridge Road. Items taken to the
compost plant are recycled. The
City provides the first residential container and the second container must be
purchased for a price of $43.09 from the department of public works.
Commercial containers may be purchased at a cost of $445.
The department also picks up junk that is placed at the curb and sweeps
and cleans the streets.
