The Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism is an arm of the city of Pigeon
Forge funded 100% by city tax dollars. The
mission of the department of tourism is to increase tourism to the city of
Pigeon Forge.
The
purpose of the Department of Tourism is as follows:
- To
promote tourism, trade, and conventions for the city of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee;
- To
study, investigate, and develop plans for improving tourism in the city and
doing such things as tend to bring visitors and conventions to the city;
- To
advise and recommend plans to the city council for the development of tourism in
the city;
- To
otherwise promote public interest in the general improvement of tourism in the
city.
