The Department of Community Development is responsible for providing planning information and technical assistance to the Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals and the City Commission in regards to growth and development in the City of Pigeon Forge. Technical assistance includes the review of proposed developments and working with the public to ensure conformance of the city’s ordinance and development regulations in matters such as zoning, land development and floodplain management.
