Risk Management Department
The City of Pigeon Forge Risk Management Department is committed to protecting the City’s employees, assets, and operations through effective risk identification, prevention, and control. The department works to reduce the frequency and severity of losses by managing insurance programs, promoting workplace safety, and coordinating claims handling for property, liability, and workers’ compensation.
Risk Management partners with all City departments to identify potential hazards, implement safety measures, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The department also provides training and education to employees on topics such as accident prevention, emergency response, and safe work practices.
Through proactive planning, open communication, and continuous improvement, the Risk Management Department helps ensure that the City of Pigeon Forge operates efficiently, safely, and responsibly—protecting both our workforce and the citizens we serve
