Memorial Tree & Bench Program
The Greenest Way to Honor Someone.
There is no better way to remember a loved one than to plant a tree and provide a restful bench in their memory. The memorial tree and bench program began in 2001 and since then Parks and Recreation has planted approximately 100 trees and placed 12 benches. When purchased the tree and/or bench will be place along the Riverwalk greenway, in City Park or in one of the many green spaces in Pigeon Forge. A 4”x6” bronze plaque set in concrete to recognize whom the tree or bench honors.
Trees
Bur Oak, Princeton American Elm, River Birch, Tulip Poplar, and the Willow Oak are all available to be purchased.
Benches
A beautiful, heavy-duty bench will be placed under the tree and provides a great resting place for all who visit the area.
