Traffic Enforcement and Safety
The officers of the Pigeon Forge Police Department are dedicated to the safety of the millions of motorists and pedestrians which visit our City each year. The enforcement of traffic laws help to keep our community and visitors safe. All traffic laws are equally important, but the main violations are the following: 
1. Speeding
2. Driver’s License Violations
3. No insurance
The Police Department has Drug Recognition Evaluators (DRE) to help with the DUI enforcement. These officers work hand in hand with the Governor’s Highway Safety Office and other law enforcement agencies during many of the quarterly campaigns and sobriety checkpoints.
